Workshops for small and midsized companies teach strategies for success and growth
Small business owners in Sydney are about to access new ideas for increasing cash flow and profitability in their companies – and the rest of Australia may soon follow suit.
Suncorp Bank, one of Australia’s fastest growing banks, has engaged Shape Your Business in a pilot business development programme. The free programme is aimed at improving profits and ensuring success for Suncorp’s business clients and some other businesses in the community.
As Suncorp Branch Manager Tim Deverell put it: “Too many business owners struggle with the complexities of running a small business. We wanted to introduce qualified experts to our business customers to help them overcome those complexities. The practices and strategies presented in these workshops will help make that happen. Suncorp is excited to be working with Shape Your Business to help businesses become more profitable.”
Suncorp selected Shape Your Business to deliver the program because of its vast experience in advising small- and medium-sized enterprises. The firm uses tools and resources that have been at the cutting edge of business advisory services for well over a decade and continue to be regarded as some of the best by businesses around the globe.
It’s one of the reasons that Mike Reddy, principal of the firm, has been invited to speak to business groups and their advisors throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South Africa over the last 12 months.
Says Suncorp: “It was important that we introduced an organisation supported by qualified professionals. Shape Your Business understands the issues small businesses face today and they have the resources to provide effective solutions”.
The Suncorp programme debuts Tuesday 29th March and consists of interactive workshops that introduce participants to simple and innovative ways to significantly improve their company’s profitability, cash flow and business value. Participants receive a handbook, an action plan and access to additional resources.
Mike Reddy’s response: “We are delighted to be able to provide Suncorp’s clients and other business owners with access to vital information that could make a significant difference to their quality of life and boost the value of their business. We combine our real-world experience with innovative business analysis software to recommend improvements to a client’s business structure, marketing strategy, financials, and operations.”
If Suncorp’s pilot program is well received by the Sydney business community the workshops could be rolled out on a larger scale throughout the Suncorp banking network.
Interested business owners should contact their local Suncorp branch to register for the Shape Your Business workshops.
